Why 100 MW?

A utility-scale project of this size can form part of Zambia’s broader effort to expand and diversify generation capacity. Zambia’s Integrated Resource Plan anticipates significant growth in electricity demand and generation capacity, with solar PV and other variable renewable technologies forming an increasing part of the planned generation mix.
